This bracelet is inspired by the yucca plant and the many benefits it supplies to everything around it. Something new that I learned from this plant is that you can take the dried out stalk and use it to start friction fires. These plants are just great for many uses from eating the flowers, stalk and roots, to using the leaves as rope fibers and the natives knew this and utilized these wonderful plants. The flowers that bloom are very beautiful and there are about 16 species native to the state of Texas. A patina has been added to accent the stamping as well as give the piece an aged look, and than polished with steel wool. When ordering you can pick the color of your silk, there are four options. Every marking on my hand stamped pieces is like a brush stroke on a painting to create a picture. The stamps that I use are all custom made by me to create my own original designs. It often takes several separate strikes with multiple stamps to create a picture. All my jewelry is one of a kind and made to provide a sense of comfort and hope for the one wearing it. I put a lot of love into all my pieces and they are each different like the ones wearing them.
All my jewelry is solid Sterling Silver and/or Copper. No chemicals are used to coat, nor glues used for joints or attaching stones. Any joining of metals is with silver or copper solder, depending on the metal.
