Every marking on my hand stamped pieces is like a brush stroke on a painting to create a picture. The stamps that I use are all custom made by me to create my own original designs. It often takes several separate strikes with multiple stamps to create a picture. All my jewelry is one of a kind and made to provide a sense of comfort and hope for the one wearing it. I put a lot of love into all my pieces and they are each different like the ones wearing them. No chemicals are used to coat, nor glues used for joints or attaching stones. Any joining of metals is with silver or copper solder, depending on the metal.
This charm was inspired from a clear mind and just wanting to have some fun. I like to go into studio, grab a stamp and start stamping. This helps with creativity blocks as well and just having the need to create. This flower is meditative in nature and can be looked at and focused on to clear the mind. It is on a 1" sterling silver disc with a satin finish that is achieved by adding a patina to turn silver black, and than tumbling in media for about 10 hours. This can be worn on a chain as a necklace as well.
