This design was created by taking a molten hot piece of recycled silver from my scraps and pressing a stamp into it to create the leaf. The dots are created by stamping and the cracks are a nice addition from the metal cooling off while pressing with stamp. The finish is satin and achieved by adding a patina to color the silver black and tumbling in special media for about 12 hours. The bale to is 5mm on inside and the charm itself measures a little over 1/2 inch across. This is made from 100% sterling silver that is recycled. Every marking on my hand stamped pieces is like a brush stroke on a painting to create a picture. The stamps that I use are all custom made by me to create my own original designs. It often takes several separate strikes with multiple stamps to create a picture. All my jewelry is one of a kind and made to provide a sense of comfort and hope for the one wearing it. I put a lot of love into all my pieces and they are each different like the ones wearing them.
No chemicals are used to coat, nor glues used for joints or attaching stones. Any joining of metals is with silver or copper solder, depending on the metal.
