These little charms are a lot of fun to make and started with me wanting to recycle my silver scraps instead of sending them in. These are 100% sterling silver that has been melted down into whatever shape it decides to take and than stamping an organic image into them. They also remind me of polished river rocks and have a little weight to them. This one measures 3/4" tall and almost 1/2" wide. The bale has an inside diameter of 3mm. The finish is satin and created by adding a patina to turn silver black and than tumbling in special media for about 10 hours. Every marking on my hand stamped pieces is like a brush stroke on a painting to create a picture. The stamps that I use are all custom made by me to create my own original designs. It often takes several separate strikes with multiple stamps to create a picture. All my jewelry is one of a kind and made to provide a sense of comfort and hope for the one wearing it. I put a lot of love into all my pieces and they are each different like the ones wearing them. No chemicals are used to coat, nor glues used for joints or attaching stones. Any joining of metals is with silver or copper solder, depending on the metal.
