Simple and comfortable, this necklace will pair with just about anything and can be worn year around. The chain is very sturdy and can survive gorilla grip toddler hands weight and all. The clasp is hooked and will be the weak point of the chain. This piece is made by connecting the copper to the brass by means of copper rivets that I have made. All the markings on pieces that you see are created by custom stamps that I make myself. This creates a highly unique and personal design. No two pieces will ever be the same. Every little leaf or marking is one part of the bigger whole which often takes over fifty impressions to create a picture. This is not a one and done design, it takes skill and precise placement of the stamp. The finish that you see on my pieces is created by adding a patina which will turn the whole piece black, and then putting it into a silica media, and tumbling for about 12 hours in a tumbler. Jewelry Care: Copper will tarnish if exposed to chemicals. I wear all my jewelry that I make 24/7 including in the shower and have never needed to clean.
