This lovely and comfortable open band ring is stamped with a bloodroot flower. I love bloodroot as it is one of the early spring flowers that pops out of the ground and is native to our area here in Virginia.
All the markings on pieces that you see are created by custom stamps that I make myself. This creates a highly unique and personal design. No two pieces will ever be the same. Every little leaf or marking is one part of the bigger whole which often takes over fifty impressions to create a picture. This is not a one and done design, it takes skill and precise placement of the stamp. The finish that you see on my pieces is created by adding a patina which will turn the whole piece black, and then putting it into a silica media, and tumbling for about 12 hours in a tumbler.
